Robert Schiele is a thought leader within the decarbonization and energy transition space, with more than twenty years of experience in this market. Before setting up his own business, Robert served as Managing Director and developed a new business segment focused on Negative Emissions Technologies within Siemens Financial Services that invests in innovative companies around the world and helps these companies accelerate the scale and growth of the entire carbon dioxide removal (CDR) ecosystem. On top of investing, Robert worked actively with portfolio companies to leverage his experience and network, as a means to fast-track development and maturity milestones. In former responsibilities he served in senior executive roles at the intersection between technology, business strategy and finance. He holds a master’s degree in engineering, and a Master of Business Administration, with intense working experiences both on the technical and the financing side.
