With over seven years of experience at the intersection of carbon markets, nature-based solutions and policy, João brings a blend of strategic insight and on-the-ground expertise to the climate space. At the forefront of voluntary carbon markets in Latin America, he has led initiatives in project origination, complex carbon credit transactions, and policy engagement - always driven by a deep commitment to nature and biodiversity. João earned a Law degree and later specialized in Environmental Sciences and Sustainability at the postgraduate level.
