"Carbon removal is more than just a climate solution. It's an opportunity to establish an industry based on equity, one that creates opportunities for communities and prioritises sustainability and ethical responsibility."

Marc brings a strong foundation in finance shaped by roles in the beverage and chemicals industries in Windhoek, Namibia and Hamburg, Germany. He holds an Honours degree in Commerce from the University of Stellenbosch. Raised on a farm in Namibia, Marc developed a direct understanding of how climate change, volatile rainfall, and bush encroachment place mounting pressure on rural agricultural communities. The discovery that carbon capture, biochar, and carbon credits could provide sustainable solutions to these challenges prompted him to seek a role where his professional skills could contribute to meaningful impact. Marc's passion lies in turning complex financial data into clear, actionable insight, making numbers not just visible, but meaningful enough to drive decisions that move the business forward.
